Hi,

I have a X4140 with the above SAS controller card. I am trying to test out EON and it seems that EON does not recognize the controller. When I do a "echo | format", I get "No Disks found". Please advise which driver (package) to install to get support for the controller.

Thanks.

Below is the SAMPLE of the boot up screen that I get.

Adaptec RAID BIOS V5.3-0 [Build 15815] (c) 1998-2008 Adaptec, Inc. All Rights Reserved <<<Press <Ctrl><A> for Adaptec RAID Adaptec RAID Configuration Utility will be invoked after initialization.

Hi Durianmy,

I don't have the hardware but I think you may need the following packages:
SUNWaac
StorMan

Thanks. I booted up oi_147 and saw the 'aac' driver. I'll try to update EON with the 'SUNWaac' driver and see how it goes.

I've tried installing the driver 'SUNWaac' but the driver never loads.

I've followed the instruction from this thread as well and still not working. (http://opensolaris.org/jive/thread.jspa?threadID=132244&tstart=15)

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks.

Nevermind. I found out the error and EON can actually see the disk now.

What is 'StorMan' and where can I get the package/driver ?

Thanks.
