Hi Gea,
if you deploy Netatalk, are you compilling the
sources yourself? If yes, how do you determine which
options to compile in?
E.g. for me it has to be with --enable-nfsv4acls,
which yields a problem in oi147 and up, since the
aclmode property has been removed from zfs and now
Netatalk up to the current (beta) really can't deal
with it. It's still fine for TimeMachine stuff, but
is doesn't work, if your're in a workgroup type
setup.
I now, that this is not specific to napp-it, but I
thaught that'd be of interest.
yes i is compiled by the online installer withe defaults that
fits my needs. you can check the settings in /home/admin/nappit2.sh (OI)
or /root/nappit2.sh (Nexenta). If you need other settings, you must recompile it

and:
napp-it 0.4 pre is out

changelog:

* newest AFP Version 2.14 included
* stored on any platform in /var/web-gui
* mini-httpd webserver for napp-it management is included
* AMP = Apache + MySQL + PHP is free for your needs
* small Base-Install + AMP or AFP as Option via wget online Installer
* mbuffer included (for fast zfs send/ receive)
* minor bugfixes
* tested on NexentaCore and OpenIndiana
